Place Cards

As Part of our plantable paper range available on my ETSY SHOP I have been making place cards for weddings and events.


This is my 5 test colours:

I have been making these in a lot of custom colours.  I have done an Indian wedding, where 14 different bright colours were ordered and also a set of four colours for a neon themed wedding.

Lotus Flowers

In my last post I put up some pictures of some of the items I would be putting in my new Etsy store, these lovely Lotuses were part of it:

They are intended to be used as wedding favours, or party gifts.  They are made from recycled paper, and are inlayed with seeds so when they are planted they grow into a mix of real flowers.  A couple of weeks ago I recieved a request for some custom colours of these.



This is how they turned out:

Gorgeous, even if I do say so myself.

Its official, I now have two online shops!!

 Not content with having my own space on Etsy for Zebrog Baby Gifts and Accessories to sell my sewn items and baby gifts, I decided that two heads are better than one lol.

This Paper Garden is completly different.  I have discovered a passion for paper making, and following the usual avenues of online inspiration i decided that plantable paper was worth a go too.  This has grown into making a range of 27 different coloured papers.

All of these lovely colours or recycled seed paper have been made into an eco friendly wedding range.  This includes:

which comes in a range of shapes and themes.

This (I hope) is just the start of a larger range of items made of eco friendly, recycled plantable paper.   

Baby Memory Box Prototypes

These are my trail runs for the memory boxes I'll be selling through Zebrog Baby Gifts and Accessories.  I have made these up with my daughter's own birth items, but clients would supply their own items for me to make up the boxes.

When they're ready they'll be available via my ETSY SHOP.

This is a 30x30 cm pine frame, just a nice simple pink paper background to match the white and pink baby items inside, this is with a newborn sized baby grow, hat ad the wrist and ankle tags from the hospital .  I am wanting to add a little print out card with baby details on for the top centre too.

This is a larger 40x40 black frame.  This is made up of my daughter's premature sized items, this was the only way to make a body suit fit fully, the newborn sized ones and 0-3+ need folding like in the first image.  The extra bits you see here are: an oxygen mask hat, size 0 nappy, wrist tag, incubator card and monitor clip.  Again i think this one needs a little card at the top centre, mabies a colourful one to offset the blank background.  Either that or I need to find some big card to use as a backdrop.  

Hummm... anyways as I said this ones work in progress, things are very busy at the minute setting up the ETSY shop, and Ive spent quite a bit of time in hospital again recently so I'm poorly again....  :(

Just a quick announcement today, we now have an Etsy shop! 

 Ive been busy the last few months making lots of bibs and bonnets as well as many gifts for the Zebrog company.    Here is a quick preview and we should have some tutorials up soon ( If little one lets me on the computer and doesnt "help" too much )

Most of these are in my new Etsy shop and Facebook (as of January 2014)  but some were donated at Christmas to the Special Care Baby Unit at my local hospital in Durham where my baby spent the first 28 days of her life.  We gave a bag full of my makes and some teddies to the unit for the babies Christmas stocking, because last year that meant a lot to us!

Crafts, Gifts and Stock!

Ive been working hard the last few weeks making stock, yes stock, for Zebrog, my little company is off to our first fair.  Were booked on a stall at Hallgarth Manor's Christmas fair and I'm very excited.  Heres a taster of what will be for sale.

Promotion Materials

Today my leaflets and business cards arrived.  Its all getting very official now and I can start trading now as soon as orders come in.  Flyers are up in two local shops I passed today and I'll have to start distributing them ASAP.
